How are your working or practical days going dear friends? Are you enjoying it? As for me, I love my studying days more!! I just love to study.. Can I just study till the end of my life.. hehehe (What a dream!!)
Im at the office now and the connection of the server and internet are not very efficient. Plus the boss is not around, so I decide to do some blogging activity.
Last weekend we went to the Hamdan Street (if I not mistaken) to buy the Abaya (long black cloak/ jubbah). There are few shops where we can bargain. Here, I practice my bargaining skills that I had learned in the Negotiation class. With the Arab, we have to bargain and have a lot of patience as they do not like to hear to a “no” answer. We manage to get the Abaya between the prices of Dhs 60 to Dhs 80. I bought a total of 6 Abayas for me and my siblings. Will go there again to buy for hubby, mother in law and my father.
Then we had our dinner at 1 of the shop there. The price is quit affordable (but it is still expensive if compared to Malaysian price) and the food is a lot. 1 bowl of fried rice is Dhs 13. And the shop is only a simple shop, not the luxuries one. But we had to wait for such a long time. Maybe coz there is a lot of people eating there. The food is nice though.
After bought the Abaya, we went to the Gift Tower to buy gifts. The gifts are affordable; I think I will just buy the gift from here. Then we went to Madinat Zayed. There are also shops at Madinat Zayed where the Abaya is about Dhs 200++ and above. But the designs are also nice. There are so many designs. I want to see it, but the price is quit expensive, don’t you think so?
As usual, we went back home at almost 11pm. And we are just too tired to do anything else..
P/s: BTW did I tell you that there are also shops in Dubai that sell Abaya around Dhs 35000?? Do people really buy those expensive Abaya? After all, this is a rich Arab country isn’t it? =)
